Smokeball Integration Setup & Overview
The integration between Smokeball and Resolutn streamlines the negotiation process by enabling seamless collaboration and document exchange. With this integration, users can effortlessly create and link claims in Resolutn for specific matters in Smokeball. Additionally, users can access Smokeball matter documents directly in Resolutn, facilitating the seamless sharing of relevant files with the opposing party.
Furthermore, users can upload chat history with the opposing party related to a claim in Resolutn and easily sync this history as a document back to the corresponding Smokeball matter. This ensures that all negotiation-related data is well-organized and accessible in both platforms, enhancing efficiency and collaboration.
Setup
To use Resolutn with Smokeball, simply click “Sign In With Smokeball” on Resolutn, authenticate using your Smokeball credentials. Once authenticated, accept the terms and conditions, and complete your account setup by providing the required information.
Creating and Linking Claims with Smokeball
After setting up your Resolutn account through Smokeball, creating and linking claims is straightforward. Simply click on the “Add New Claim” or “Add Claim(s)” action. You will be directed to the “Add Claim” page, where you can select the “Add a Single Claim” option. Resolutn will then display a list of matters from your Smokeball account. Choose a matter to create and link a claim, and the claimant’s first and last names will be pre-populated based on the selected matter. All you need to do is complete the remaining fields to finalize the claim. This seamless process ensures that your Smokeball matters are efficiently integrated with Resolutn claims.
Document Exchange and download chat history
Once the claim is created in Resolutn, it will link to the corresponding matter in Smokeball. From the claim page in Resolutn, you can initiate negotiations by clicking the “OPEN NEGOTIATION SCREEN” button. Additionally, you can easily upload and share documents with the opposing party by clicking the “SHARE FROM SMOKEBALL” button (this option will appear only if there are documents in the Smokeball matter), which will display a list of documents associated with the selected matter.
Resolutn offers a chat feature for seamless communication with the opposing party. To save your chat history, select the “Download to Smokeball” option and click “Download Message History” The chat history will then be saved as a CSV file and automatically added to the corresponding matter page in Smokeball.
